Electrician across the Phoenix Valley
Two home bases, one in Ahwatukee and one in Maricopa, with Mesa, Queen Creek and Apache Junction as regular drives.
- Based in
- Phoenix Valley
- Utilities we work with
- SRP, APS and ED3
- Estimates
- Free, in writing
Each base covers its own side of the map.
Shawkes Electric works out of Ahwatukee and Maricopa, one on each side of the Gila River Indian Community. Each base covers its own side, so a Maricopa call does not wait on a drive down State Route 347.
Shane runs the work from the two bases, Ahwatukee and Maricopa. Most jobs sit within about 45 minutes of one or the other, and there is no travel charge anywhere inside that.
We serve five cities from two bases.
Each card lists the utility, the permit office and the ZIP codes. The city page has the rest.

Questions about where we work
Do you charge for travel?
No. There is no travel charge anywhere in the service area, and the trip is part of the price on the quote.
Do you come out to San Tan Valley or Gold Canyon?
Yes, both. Both sit outside city limits in Pinal County, so the permit goes through the county instead of a city.
Can you come out the same day?
Kai gets back to you the same day, and a breaker that will not reset or power out to part of the house gets looked at first. If you smell burning or see scorch marks, turn that breaker off and call.

If you're looking for an electrician you can trust, Shawkes Electric is it. Kai and Fin were great to have on-site as well. I've dealt with plenty of contractors over the years, and this was one of the better experiences. Shawkes Electric is a company I'd use again without hesitation.
